The Centaur Trust was set up in 2000 as a charity to provide both a sports facility for riding training and ridden recreation, and to support riding training and recreation.

The Centaur Trust runs a number of training clinics where the cost to riders is kept at a minimum and offers subsidised places for riders of 21 years of age and under. Support has also been given in the past to other groups such as:
The Pony Club – UKCC training course for coaches
British Show Jumping Association – regional training course
Event Horse Owners Association – regional training course

The facilities are also available for hire at a low cost so other organisations can run their own training clinics, for example:
British Dressage – regional training course
British Young Riders Dressage – regional training course
Please contact us if you or your organisation wishes to run a training clinic – we may be able to offer support towards costs.

             

The Centaur Trust also supports recreational riding by running both affiliated and unaffiliated dressage competitions. Again the ethos of low cost to the rider is applied. The facilities are also available for other organisations to hire in order to run their own competitions, for example:
Beccles & Bungay Riding Club – winter junior and senior dressage competition

The facilities are also available for individual riders to hire an hourly basis. Please contact us for booking details.
The indoor school has a 22x60m silica sand surface. The mezzanine gallery runs across the short end of the arena and is fully glazed on the school side. A wood burning stove heats the gallery in the winter. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the gallery with food available at our competitions.


















The outdoor school has a 20x60m silica sand surface. Box parking is on hard standing.
